Excessive barking

Impulse control
Reactivity on walks
Anxiety
Using e-collar

A sliding scale means the cost of dog training services is based on your ability to pay. It’s designed to make training accessible to more people, regardless of income. No proof of income is required.
No cost (or free) training is also available for those in need. Sessions are limited, but I offer as many as I can each month.

First, we’ll talk in detail about your dog and your goals for training. I’ll evaluate how your dog acts in typical situations (when I come in the house, on leash outside, when being told “no,” etc.) to determine what is causing the behaviors (lack of leadership or direction, needing more fulfillment, insecurity or anxiety, etc.).
Next, I’ll show you how to help with the behaviors you’re looking to change using the tools you feel comfortable with. Together, we’ll create a short- and long-term plan for how you can progress, whether through more training with me or on your own.
One week after training, we’ll schedule a follow-up call so you can ask questions or get clarification after you’ve started your training plan.
-
We can use any tools that you decide are the best fit.
While a slip leash or e-collar can be helpful for many dogs, you may not feel comfortable using them. They also may be out of budget.
We will look at the pros and cons of different tools together to determine what will work best for you and your dog.

Training costs depend on the type of training, where you’re located, and if you’ve been approved for our sliding scale program.
A typical one-hour in-person session in the South Bay is $75.
A typical one-hour virtual session is $60.
Sliding scale sessions are on a first-come first-serve basis. The costs range from $0-$50, depending on what you can afford.
More about me
I love dogs.
I’ve had them all my life, volunteered with rescues, worked as a dog sitter, fostered dogs, etc. My experience with dog training started when our rescue growing up had challenging behaviors we couldn’t solve. I learned even more about training when my first large breed dog as an adult was anxious and reactive on walks. I got even deeper into learning when I started fostering dogs with challenging pasts.
I know personally training can be so expensive, and watching videos just isn’t enough. I’m here to help humans have a better relationship with their dogs in a way (and at a cost) that works for them.
